In all of the excitement of celebrating Friday the 13th (and my birthday!) last week, I completely forgot about my “Natural” Flag Book being posted on the Authentique Blog! One of my goals this year has been to TRY and actually “scrapbook” in some sort to try and preserve memories instead of just leaving photos in boxes or just saved on the hard drive.
The front of my flag book was created using the amazing “Native” paper from the new “Natural” line of Authentique Paper. Along with some pictures of a recent road trip you can find the some layering pieces created with Spellbinders® Large Labels, May Arts ribbon and Memento Luxe in Peanut Brittle.
This is the inside of the flag book- the top row flips open to the right while the bottom row flips to the left. You might also know this style of bookmaking as a “flip flop” or “this way that” book as well. For step-by-step instructions make sure to head over to the Authentique Blog. You’ll also see the great envelope mini album that Heather Conklin created for the Authentique Blog Hop with Scor-Pal.
