Welcome to a crafting extravaganza all week with IMAGINE CraftsAuthentique Paper and May Arts Ribbon.

This is the fun layout I created using the “Harmony” paper collection from Authentique Paper.  I thought that this was the perfect paper collection to capture this picture of some summertime fun out on the lake.  Let me show you how I created this layout.

I began with the “Creation” paper from the Harmony paper collection as the base for this layout.  I unscrewed the bottles of irRESISTible sprays and used them to “flick” splashes of Tuxedo Black, Gold and Bronze randomly onto the background.

Then it was time for some stenciling fun.  I began with the Harlequin stencil, and using a Sponge Dauber added touches of Brilliance Mediterranean Blue (the darker areas of the pattern) and then added and blended Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue.  Next I switched to the Flourish stencil and repeated the same process using Brilliance Lightning Black and Pearlescent Olive.

Now it was time to start adding some layers of more fabulous “Harmony” paper which I die cut using a few different Spellbinders dies.  I also wrapped coordinating colors of May Arts ribbon around some of the die cuts to add a little bit of texture to the layout.
